If the Customer is a "Consumer", as defined in article 3 of the Consumer Code, he is entitled to the rights referred to in articles 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code, as amended by Legislative Decree dated 02/21/2014 n.21, and therefore the right to withdraw from the Purchase Contract (hereinafter "Right of Withdrawal") for any reason, without explanation and without any penalties, in the manner specified below.
The Withdrawal may concern all (Total Withdrawal) or only part (Partial Withdrawal) of the Products purchased by the Consumer. The Withdrawal Period expires after 14 (fourteen) days from the day on which the Consumer or a third party, other than the Carrier and designated by the Consumer, acquires physical possession of the Product(s) (hereinafter "Withdrawal Period"). Alternatively, the Withdrawal Notice can be sent - within the same Withdrawal Period as indicated above - also by e-mail to the following address: info@metireggioemilia.it. The Withdrawal Notice must specify the intention to withdraw from the Purchase and the Product or Products for which you intend to exercise the right of Withdrawal.

Following the correct exercise of the right of withdrawal, as outlined in the art. 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code as mentioned above, Mèti will forward the Case Number to the Consumer via E-MAIL.
This Number must be indicated by the Consumer when returning the Product(s) (hereinafter "Return"). The return of the Product(s) must take place within 14 (fourteen) days from the date on which the Consumer communicated his/her decision to withdraw pursuant to the art. 52 of the Consumer Code mentioned above.
This aforementioned deadline will be respected if the Consumer sends back or redelivers the Products subject to Withdrawal before the expiry of 14 days.

Mèti reminds you that the transport costs relating to the return of the Product(s) subject to the Withdrawal are borne by the Consumer and that the Return is under the complete responsibility of the Consumer himself, art. 57, paragraph 1, of the Consumer Code.
Mèti also reminds its Consumers, before returning, to check that the Product(s) subject to the Withdrawal is/are intact and in a normal state of conservation, inserted in the original packaging, complete in all its parts (including packaging and additional documentation).

The Consumer, pursuant to current legislation, will only be responsible for the decrease in the value of the Product(s) resulting from handling of the same(s) other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the Product(s). /the.

If the right of withdrawal has been correctly exercised in accordance with the provisions of the articles. 52 et seq., Mèti will refund the Consumer the entire amount already paid, including Delivery Costs, within 14 (fourteen) days from the day on which it was informed of the Consumer's decision to withdraw from the Purchase Contract.
Mèti, pursuant to and for the purposes of art. 56 of the Consumer Code as amended by Legislative Decree no. 21/2014, reserves the right to withhold the refund until it has received the Product(s).

Refunds on commercial transactions made with PayPal

From March 5, 2020 PayPal has changed its refund conditions.
With the new PayPal rules relating to refunds on commercial transactions, when a seller makes a refund to a buyer, PayPal will not refund the seller but rather will retain both the fixed and variable fees (LINK TO THE CONDITIONS).
